i went through a lot of steps to get here and frankly, i dont remember them all, but, if you're interested, i'll try and remember.

Here's my go.

duplicated layers and blended.
reduced noise in Blue layer
and some other bits that I can't remember... I have a terrible memory!

getting rid of the blobby colours was hard... not quite got it really.

I pretty much smudged the whole thing. Did a couple of levels adustments and painted in some color.

Really interested me as it's such a cute picture.
I started to paint back the detail but I don't have time to do anymore.
If you're interested doing more to it send me a private message and I'll send you the file as it stands. You can work out what I have done so far from the layers. It's rather large as I left it full size to work on.
