Repair folded Face image

Any help on repairing the cheek and chin areas. This is a fold in the photo.

What retouching software do you have that you need help with?

Well first I adjusted the color and contrast using curves and the eyedroppers.

After that I brushed some of the darker areas in the lower left hand corner with a white brush on a separate layer using overlay blending mode to lighten up that area.

I cloned several areas and used Swampy's method of colorizing the sky.

Like Phil, I first worked on the color cast. That's not what you asked about, though. If you're interested in those details let me know. Once the color was corrected all that was needed was a little touchup to get rid of the fold line on the face and the discoloration on the girl's arms. For that I used the clone tool and the healing tool (in CS3). To take care of the big stain on her lower arm I made a pattern from the back of her hand and used it with the patch tool, followed up with some cloning and healing to clean up the edges.

I also worked on the color cast. for the dark area around the lower part of the face i used the patch tool to blend in the area. I also added a gradient map to increase the flesh tones.

Just used the smudge tool for everything apart from general color balance of course and one slight correction with the brush.
