Are there any suggestions for these images

Hey,

My olds just emailed me a couple of pics and I am a tad lost a to where to start with them (if anything can be done with them).

Does anyone have some suggestions on what to try to see if these can be rejuvenated?

I would love to hear some suggestions to try for these.

Many thanks.

S.

Re: Are there any suggestions for these images

I have worked ten minutes on the first image.

The main trick consisted in going into Lab mode and inverting the b channel, then I did some brightness/contrast on the a channel, went back in RGB mode where I applied auto-levels and a bit of median.

I don't think miracles can be done withg those pics because all that is black on them appears void of details to me.

The blue pic:
copied the green channel pasted it over a copy of the background and changed the copied green to Luminosity
new layer and filled with red, changed mode to color at 42% opacity
Selected around rocker and blanket did inverse then made everything black with a hue/saturation layer.. inverse again and using another hue/sat layer adjusted baby

Roo:
shadow highlight and some selective color adjustments using hue/sat layer and mask
