need help with reparing damaged photo

here i have uploaded the photo........... i am using cs3 and wanted to erase those unwanted straches and marks from the face and colorize it.......... any suggestions how could i come over with the problem.

A very small Image.. 1" tall? A larger photo might help in getting a better restoration..

This tutorial "Restoring an old photograph" by cameraken has become the starting point for most of my projects.

Used in conjunction with this tutorial "Enhancing Details In Unevenly Faded Pictures" by Flora.

Used lots of Layers, dust and scratch filter, different levels layers, some painting on new layers and used a lot of Masks to retain and hide unwanted things combined with slow methodical work
(needs a lot more to be done but it gives you an idea of what You can accomplish..)
