Removing Dots

Hi this is my first post here and I would like to say what a great site you've got here!

I've been trying to restore an image but the problem is that it's covered with halftone dots. It's easy enough when the background is a solid colour, but when there are textures, that's when it gets tricky, does anybody have any tips to remove this effect without damaging the background?

Re: Removing Dots

Image Analyzer would work with that.
