| | | Quick-time movies Gene suggested a thread showing web sites where quick-time movies are available. I only have one site that I know of for sure. That is Russell Brown's site, and there are several good ones available. Adobe.com is also a good possibility, although I'm not sure about that one. If you have any sites to add, please do.

| | I'm new to the forum, so forgive me if this site has been posted thousands of times in the the past: http://www.apple.com/creative/resources/ttphotoshop/
Some wonderful stuff to be found there, all of which are in Quicktime (not a huge surprise considering the source). |

Welcome to Retouchpro. Since I use a pc rather than a mac, I would not have looked at this site.. Just went there and sampled a few movies..Really good stuff..I must go back and look at all of them..

there are a few quicktimes available, under a few different catagories, some not particularly great for Retouchers, but good resources if using PS |

| | | I never had Photoshop 6, but I now have 7. I assume the Photoshop 6 movies would probably be quite similar to 7??

| | | I would think that they would still be usable with Photoshop 7 since 7 has all the features 6 had just more.

DJ | Thanks for the welcome everyone... keep in mind that the tutorials at Apple.com are the same for PC users as they are for Mac users. (: I use a PCs myself, but came across the link one day when I was scrouring the web for information on a certain technique! |

| | Don't know what I was thinking of. Of course you are right. Guess my brain stopped working there. Gettin old.
I guess the only difference betweem Mac and PC is command = control on a PC and option = alt.

| | | You get the credit Gene. It was your idea. Don't forget, it's encouraged that everyone start a new thread whenever they want. So everyone just jump in. The water's fine.
