| Re: How can i restore this image (light leak) Try using selective color adjustment layer; adjust the reds, and the neutrals. Then use a mask to only affect the red areas. Try it out, -Keven |

| Re: How can i restore this image (light leak) Hi; I took a quick try at your picture by doing the following 1. In RGB mode, I copied the Green channel and pasted it into the Red channel 2. In Layers, adjusted levels for each of the Red, Green and Blue channels by clipping off the high values on the right. For the RGB channel moved the Midtone slider to the left until I was satisfied. 3. Duplicated the layer and set Blend Mode to Overlay at about 70%. 4. Merged the top two layers 5.Duplicated merged layer, ran High Pass Filter at 1.4. Set Blend Mode to Overlay 6. Used Curves Adjustment Layer to tweak final result. There are still spots to be cleaned up etc. but the overall red tone has been toned down considerably. Hollyoake |
