Re: Restore Photo

Appreciate seeing the screen shot of all of the layers. It interesting to see how people accomplish what they do. I dug out my old Katrin Eismann book and played with multiple myself and channels...but didn't do very well. I didn't however duplicate that multiple layer that many times. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Restore Photo

Why not just; select>all...Edit>Copy Merged...Then Edit>paste where you want the composite.

Re: Restore Photo

I'm left-handed, I smash the right side, and get the <E> with the left - more balanced that way.

Re: Restore Photo

morrow,
I like that image. It is a hard one to bring out much detail within.

This was a quick go using mainly apply image with a bit of threshold masking.

It was mainly to bring out some contrast so that cleanup would go faster. Of course, I did not do any of the very time consuming cleanup required.

Thank you and everyone else. I'm going to take a few of these and try to clean them up a bit.

I'm assuming my scanner is ok than?

Also, It appears that some of the paper is a slightly different color. The scanner picked that up and actually enhanced it. Any ideas as to why?

Re: Restore Photo

Please loan me your comments and suggestions. I took one of the photo's from above and removed most of the crap out of it. I'd like to improve it more if I can.
