Think I tend to agree. I have no idea of what he looks like and there isnt enough information left to go by.

I am sorry, but I did go to photobucket and downloaded the photos again, there is just not enough information left to allow any kind of fix, I tried everything I could think of and I am not getting any thing back to work with. Its very sad to me when I see there is no way to at least make it somewhat visible, I think that most will agree that this is just too far gone.

This image is not ready for traditional restoration methods using Photoshop.

Actually, you need to post this over in the "History, Conservation & Repair" forum. In that forum, you can consult with others on:
- the type of image it is;
- the available physical repairs for that type image;
- locations of excellent conservators in your area;
- expectations for the physical repairs;
- expectations of Photoshop repairs after the physical repairs.

That forum is a bit slower to respond, so be patient. But, if you don't get suitable answers after a week or so, ping me and I'll put you in touch with some excellent conservators.
