Re: CottonThreads

NO baldy, thas not bad at all! that is a great job. that is definitely a plug in Im getting as soon as I get some money to donate for it! I myself have struggled for days trying to split all the channels and correct each one to combine and have it 'better' but considering all the work I did it wasn't worth the effort.

Arrow Re: CottonThreads [fixed link]

The mentioned color deconvolution plug-in is from 4N6site.com.
Previous posts contain outdated links, but the plug-in is available through 4N6site.com.
The cotton does not seem to have any transparency, so for this particular image it is not the solution, but for many other images it is.
You can also contact the site if you want to be absolutely sure you get the maximum out of the plug-in, or if you want a copy of the plug-in on your fried computer!

Does anyone think it would work with this picture?

I downloaded the plugin and it doesn't work at all in cs5 and it makes pspx2 crash..
Soooo I am to feel that its an old plugin that isn't compatible with newer software.

It works with any 32 bit Photoshop plug-in compatible host on windows (32/64 bit). Some compatible hosts are mentioned here, but PS CS5 should work fine in the 32 bit version, XnView is a free host that works fine. Hope that helps!

Re: CottonThreads

Yes I saw that and I installed it in my corel paintshop pro, it does show, but when I go to use it, the program crashes.
I have no clue of why its not working in the cs5, I do have a 64bit machine.
plugins are pains sometimes
