Re: Royal Air Force

Firstly, may I say that your restoration is brilliant and has really come to life. What doesn't work for me is the sky above the building. The focus in this area is on the "writing/caption" and I notice when looking at it, that this is what my eye is drawn to. When really it is a secondary part of your great composition. So the restoration seems to me to be cut off at the top of the building and not really believeable as a "real" photo. You could create a false sky with clouds and still do your writing over the top. What do you think?

Re: Royal Air Force

Thankyou Liz,

I have tried your suggestion, and I am not sure it works, maybe cuts down the significance of the writing a little too much, although it could be my choice of sky.

I think the caption is a really important part of this restoration otherwise I would have just cloned it out, but I see your point.

What do you reckon?

John

Re: Royal Air Force

I liked your soft sky. The latest version has an...um....rebellious touch. Could be missing fireworks. What do you think?

Re: Royal Air Force

lol. Unbelievable!......And I mean, unbelievable. Perpective needs some work. But colours are fabulous! Put your text in the foreground on the tarmac and I reckon it's..........complete! I'd buy it.
