You could try to find some similiar photos and replace the missing parts with it. If there are no photos you can use, try to clone the one part and flip it vertically.

Re: Big challenge - recreating facial features

Yes, that is what I did, use the taller lady's eyes and make new
eye brows.
Re paint the face to smooth it out.

A small part done.

Re: Big challenge - recreating facial features

i worked on just the boy's head/face. i used only push and airbrush except for the eyes, which i rebuilt using paint shop pro's 'red eye removal' tool. this is a very good eye rebuilder and i've used it frequently. i recommend it.

oh, and at the end, i masked the entire face/neck/skin area and added some noise to make it a little less smudgy.

i would also highly recommend using a higher resolution image than what you posted here... too pixelated. i believe you said you had higher, so ok. maybe the next time you could crop just that area you're having trouble with and make a new image of that and post that here so we'd have a higher res image to work with?

Thanks Craig. The little boy's eyes are still iffy. Very hard to piece them in.

Re: Big challenge - recreating facial features

Using one eye of the lady on the right, I think some facial recreation can be done.
