How to remove superimposed image from a photo

I have been asked if I can remove a superimposed image from a memorial card. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my friend has no photograph of her best friend

Cupcake did a fine job. But, you'll need to post a larger image somewhere to get an extracted image that is better for printing. These two may only reveal something that will print nicely less than 4x6. Any print larger will simply not contain much detail. But, maybe that is all your friend needs.
