| Re: Gold Streaks on B&W Desaturating does not really get rid of the streaking very much. There are a number of ways to address the problem. Creating a damage mask, or cloning / healing, will be time consuming. One compromise method would be to: - Duplicate the background - Image>Apply Image; chose Blue channle as the source, normal blend mode, 100% opacity - Apply a good noise filter to remove most of the remaining fine streaks. - Apply high pass or USM sharpening being very careful to select the correct radius. For the 72 dpi resolution file you attached, I used a radius of 0.7. From here you can do some clean up work to fix the remaining damaged areas. Regards, Murray |
