I don't see why people way back when thought it would be good to slice and dice their parents photos. This one I got from my great uncle, the best quality photo of my great grandma and was wondering if I could get advice on how to fix the hair.

Heres just a quick idea, where you replace the hair with something similar. I think thats easier than trying to touch it up. The hard part is finding a similar hair do.

It would be easier but I would have to find a early 1900's Italian woman's haircut.

Hi mikiez, she's a very pretty lady.

For her hair I selected & copied the left side while pasting onto the right. Trimmed it to look somewhat reasonable. Painted on a few curls here & there then softened with a smudge brush. Dodge & burn tools evened out the contrast and clone tool, too.
