I would love to know what plug ins you have found most useful for restoration work .... free or otherwise. (Noise Ninja?, Fluid Mask?)

Mary, what specific retouching tasks were you trying to perform? Beauty enhancement, old photo recovery, etc.? The plug-in names you mentioned are for noise reduction and masking and may or may not be used in the same project.
You can get quick info on most any current or classic plug-in at Plugs 'N Pixels (URL in sig).
PS: I'm Mac-based too, but am easily able to run Windows-only apps via Parallels Desktop (using both XP and Windows 7).
