Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

Try Focus Magic to remove motion blur. It might work (might not, too).

Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

try "Unshake", a free program. i dont know where to find it these days, but hopefully a google search will turn it up.

the image i'm posting is of 3 different unshake runs blended together in paint shop pro with a little cloning done to remove some unwanted blur. these are tough to do. perhaps a few runs through something like unshake or focus magic would get you better.

I've done enough of these to know... you are not going to like the results.

I guess that's you in the middle.... who's the group ?

Something different to hide the blur.

"Might not" is fairly accurate. Don't know why I even bother with this filter. When something is this gone...it's gone.

Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

As I understand things , as individuals we must purchase programs in order to do what it is we want to do . it would seem that what we have as far as programs will not do the job . Is this a correct assumption ?

Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

djm,

fixing blurs is quite tough. there isnt currently any one-shot fix, despite what television might have us believe. the two programs i know of that do somewhat help are focus magic and unshake. the former is a pay-for, the latter is free. there have also been programs that do deconvolution. i had one a few years ago, but for some reason i've lost it. it did a fair job on some things, but again, there isnt any that can really fix a blurred image very well.

if anyone would care to write one, a' la CSI, i'm sure it would make someone a decent bit of money

Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

Is unshake a plug in for photoshop?

Blurry pics are a disappointing fact of life, but some of them are really worth the long shot. I have focus magic and it has helped a few pics, but not helped even more. Still, the ones I've brought back were priceless to me.

Re: Blurred picture. ARGHHHHH

unshake is a java program. it runs stand-alone.
