| Re: Help colouring an image I'd say perhaps doing a bit of dodge and burn on the baby's forehead on the left, and perhaps just a touch on the right. | Re: Help colouring an image anunfittingname, welcome to RP. good for a first attempt. the first secret to a good colorization is a good restore or, a good picture to start with. your original has a paper texture. use fft or fftrgb to fix this. there's a tutorial in the tutorial forum on using it and you can find links to it with a search on this forum. it's also best to do any light and lighting corrections before you start colorizing. in short, colorizing is a last step action. do everything else first and things will generally come out better. |
