What photo editing software are you using?...

The cracks and creases can be fixed using the clone tool or the free transform tool within Photoshop fairly easily with no additional downloads... They can also be fixed if using Photoshop Elements (along with the help, advise, and downloads offered in the Photoshop Elements Help Forum)... Also, they are a fairly easy fix using the tools within PaintShop Pro

If you need inexpensive (Free) software to edit photos with... then maybe this thread will help: Free Photo Editors and Free Painting Software (but check the capabilities of the programs to be sure they can accomplish what you want..... like GIMP, has most of the same capabilities as the high priced programs mentioned above)

You can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the save for web function in Photoshop as described here: Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images.. (Click here)

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image on your own site or elsewhere and attach a link, but also please attach an under 100K version here (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links).

Alternative Image Hosts if you do not have your own site are: ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) or pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) or photobucket.com (1 Meg max free,... 5 Meg PRO) or mediafire.com (100 Meg per file)

This is jayeses. Thanks for helping me regarding download of Decrack. Now I have another problem about opening the file,I have tried opening it in Windows Explorer and in Paint, since I do not have Photo shop- No luck.
This is the message I got,"This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported".
Currently I have Windows 7 Home premium 32 bits.

first, what is the file extension on the image? it shld be something like .jpg, .bmp, .png, .tif or whatever. the extension is the last letters of the file name after the dot, like: mypicture.jpg, where 'jpg' is the file extension.

and when you say you're working on it, do you have a graphic editor? "Paint" by microsoft, is pretty limited. if you dont have one of the better ones, like photoshop or paint shop pro, you might try "The Gimp". it's a very good one and completely free. several folks here use it and shld be able to help you a bit.

you dont need to worry about danny's 'action' up there in the previous post. those only work in photoshop, which you dont have currently.

once you have the file type figured out (the extension stuff) and you have a decent editor, post a duplicate of it here on this site and we can help you figure things out better.

i normally use the clone tool, jayeses, but it would be best if you could post the picture, or at least a small portion of the picture that has a good example of the type of damage you've got.
