HI! I'm here to ask question again. Sorry if this was SO MANY and may even seems STUPID and outta place. I just wanna compile questions so connecting online would be more affordable right bec. I'm still a modem user. hehe. 1. Is there a way to create a background of color that is not either plai white or plain black but is adctually a mixture of two colors applied to the whole document not only left border black and then whole page white. What I mean is that THE WHOLE image is colored RED or BLUE together? Can you teach me how? Also as a challenge can u make a background that animates or sorta moves? 2. Do you know of a forum where you can ask for Java sourcecode because I'm sorta a programmer in computer science course. 3.Do you know of a software that converts mp3 to wav and vice versa. 4.I would like to suggest that here in the retouchpro that you create a chatroom that stores users so they can interact with each other. 5.Why is it that I can see only plugins that features or uses bevel in that they only bevels up only the edges. is there a way to bevel the center of the image as a portrait like style. 6.I would like to ask is there a site that offers a free update from photoshop 6 to photoshop 7? One should recommend that to Adobe that they create exe for those exes. I suggested this because it is too costly to buy another photoshop for only 1 update right? 7.When you creates graphics in website my friend says jpg are better but isnt it gif are far more superior than jpg right? Pls. comment. Thanks for reading and answering my enormous questions. Thanks to you all! Peace! and God Bless!

If you're talking about photoshop, just create a document and fill it with the color you want to use as your background. If you're talking about website graphics, you might look on some sites that deal with that specifically... Quote:

| Re: a list of questions! Garfield, A lot of your questions seem to be related to websites which I don't know that much about. You will probably get more information on your website-related questions at a forum dedicated to web development. Unfortunately, I don't know of one off-hand, but you can probably find something in a google search. (I would start with "web development forum" and see what you get.) That being said, I'll try to answer what I can: Quote:

Well if you did use background layer and save it as jpeg then you can also use that as a website background right? Isn't it using photoshop you can also create background for website. What I think I mean is blend two colors in which both colors can still be seen even if it is on only one background.,like sorta a tile.Yes, thanks for the bevel correction there. Emboss is something of what I want. About the updates, well, my friend just suggested that since it is costly to bought one right? I didnt mean that as an insult. What is mottled btw?

My comment about you being in the Philippines is a reference to the fact that there are many knock-off (meaning illegal) copies of software being sold there, are there not? Sorry if that seems flippant - it's not meant to be accusatory, just inquisitive. It's just that I know SE Asia in general has lots of (illegal) software that is easy to get. (In fact, my experience in Viet Nam is that when you are sold a computer, the seller installs all software for free - and it's all illegal copies.) The bottom line is, a legal copy of the software costs $$; anything free or nearly free is almost guaranteed to not be legal. Quote:

Re: have you thought of the easier way because I agree in that the steps are a little too many. Thanks for finally understanding this, because I just can't explain well, thanks!

Garfield, I'm sure there are many of us who won't understand what you're referring to. Please give more information, or if this should be a reply to an existing thread, post it there. Otherwise you'll probably not get the answers you're looking for. Ed

Garfield, if you are asking me if I've come up with a better way to tile two colors, not really. I did a quick search using google and came up with this possibility. Perhaps that will get you what you want. Jeanie
