Extract tint solid color ?

Hi I have a photo that is tinted & I know we can remove it by selecting the most white in the photo, but how can I select the tint color that is tinting the photo & make it a solid color for reference of what color tinted that photo ?

Why not just make a note of RGB values for highlight, midtone and shadow areas? Then you will have your reference points for the image

But I need to have the original tint to simplify batch processing frames of video's.

Try duplicating the bg and then Filter>Blur>Average.

if you can remove the cast using levels/curves and all your other pictures are the same tones, you should be able to create an action using the same levels/curves and then batch process.
Its worth a try with a couple to see how it goes.
