Face Reconstruct

Hi All,

I've got most of the restoral done on this, but could use some help/advice on reconstructing the baby's face in this photo.
The photo was pretty hammered, but I kinda choked when I got to the face of this kid....my customer is happy with my work so far, like to keep it that way.

I tried doing a selection of the right side of the face, reversing it, then superimposing over the left side......eh....not so great.
I'm using Photoshop Elements 9.

Best and thanks
Jim

Re: Face Reconstruct

I copied the left right side of the face.. pasted it.. flipped it horizontally then i went to my "Image" tab on my menu.. then selected "transform" and "distort." I then adjusted it by pulling and pushing the corners until i got the desired affect. I used the dodge and burn to blend in the new layer. I also re-sampled the eye from the partial left eye on the original so that there wasn't a mirror effect in the eyes. You can work a little more at then what i did and get it more accurate.. i hope this helps.
