Damaged pictures

Has anyone seen the article in People magazine about the pictures found after the tornados in the south? A facebook has been set up for people to claim their photos and documents. I volunteered my help to restore damaged pictures and wanted to let the people on this forum know of the site in case anyone else would like to volunteer services. The link to the original site is www.facebook.com/PicturesandDocumentsfoundafterAprilTornadoes.The link to volunteer help is:www.facebook.com/pages/Photographers-helping-restoring-memories-of-April-272011-Tornados/222153911135010
Thanks, Tawnidilly

Re: Damaged pictures

What kind of services are they looking for exactly? I'm not a photographer but I do photo restoration and manipulation in Photoshop.

Re: Damaged pictures

If you have the time then Operation Photo Rescue http://www.operationphotorescue.org/ is always looking for volunteers. They have a well established set up to allow a choice of photo to be made and a forum to allow help to be sought if necessary
