Hi!
What software do you use? and what is your knowledge in that software? what are the resolution of the original (your scanned originals)?

This might help us to help you...

Re: Photografie RESTORATION

Hi, I gave it a quick 30min touch, bare in mind I am a begginer and need to be tidy with my clone stamp. Sometimes duplicating the background and changing the blend mode to multiply will darken the photo by itself, but with the folds -- the clone stamp becomes your friend. Fixing the mother and child is crazy hard and need help from the experts. Hope you like the one photo I did. Love doing it

Re: Photografie RESTORATION

Well this photo was really faded. Using Photoshop I used a levels adjustment layer to increase the contrast. On top of that layer I used another levels adjustment layer and masked out the bottom 1/2 so that the increase in contrast on that layer would only cover the faces.

A much higher resolution of the original scan would have allowed a much better restoration option.

Well in addition to just working on luminosity there are numerous spots and things to work on.
