Remove Finger Mark? Can It Be Done?

Hey,

I Have an old picture of me and a family member (Iam The One with the hand on his head) i would like to remove the finger over the lens but i dont know where to start i dont want to crop it.

Can anyone help me?

Thats fantastic. do you mind me asking how you achieved this? I can do a little photo restoration but nothing like this i would love to learn how to do it.

Some very nice pictures on your Flickr site!!

If you use Photoshop you can post fairly large pictures which are under 100k using the 'save for web' function in Photoshop as described here:
Size, Quality and/or Format your Attached Images..(Click here)

How to attach Files/Images to your Posts or Threads:
(Click here)

If you want to post a larger resolution that is over 100K then you can host your image elsewhere and attach a link in the thread, as you did here, but also, please always attach an under 100K version (so the thread remains useful in the future, regardless of external links)

I adjusted the colors then just did a lot of copy and paste.. then more color adjustments..

If it were me... I would straighten and crop though..

I 1st adjusted the color of the orange to match the area around it. then I did a lot of cloning and patch tool and then adjusted the tones in the repaired area.
