You can use
http://www.mpix.com/products/prints/#papers
Use Pro
One on the left.

They know what they are doing.

Thanks for the info Cupcake, unfortunately I live in Europe and cannot take advantage of Mpix's quality.

If your printing yourself
Use 300 dpi
center it
If it will be in a frame, leave some white around the edge.
I sharpen in the printer also.

Re: How do I remove these blue stains

Hi again,

Sorry for not returning so often.
I had this photo printed at the local FNAC store and I didn't like the result at all.

The major problems were highlights and darker areas, they were either blown out or blacked out, no details are visible...

Will this force me to make the picture less contrasty before printing?

Return of the Jed... me.

Hi guys,

I just came to tell you that the client enjoyed the quality of the picture after all. She pay'd what I asked and thank'd me, which was more important at that moment.Anyway, I didn't continue with restoration.
Meanwhile I managed to find a daytime job at a B&H local micro style store (was unemployed for more than a year) and after two months fell into a Major Depression (MDD).
It was not even related to the job, it was just bound to happen any time and the circumstances at that time just led to it.
I'm still treating myself and meanwhile I'm gradually regaining strength and will towards retouching rather than restoration.

Sorry for all this mushy mush mush words right out of nowhere. I have been thinking of being more active in forums in order to learn more about retouching and this was the first thing I thought I should write.

I'm hoping to start new threads of mine with before and afters any time soon, if nothing bad happens in between that is.

BR.
Gabriel
