Interesting, though dangerous. While these photos are mild, opportunity to "color" a situations comes rushing forward. Thankfully the Times did the wise thing. Altering situations such as these is too easy these days. Photographs preserve history, they were not intended to create it.

Yes, that one minor alteration made the photo take on a whole new light.

I have to agree. There's a place for photo manipulation, and photo journalism is definately not it...
