Hi,

I'm working on restoring a photo that has this large dot pattern (attached).

I've seen it before, but I have no idea what type of process it is.

Any thoughts?

It's not a process exactly - just that in the Sixties and Seventies many photographs were printed on this kind of textured paper. There are a bunch of threads on RetouchPRO discussing possible approaches to removing or reducing the texture - try this thread or this one as good starting points.
