Thanks to you all

I picked up the Photoshop restoration and retouching by Katrin Eismann and I'm floored by all the info in here.

It has a lot of stuff I'll never do or have interest in doing (restoration) but the retouching color correction stuff is invaluable to me for what I do!

Thanks all who've sworn by this book

Merry holidays to all!

I agree. I have just started going through this book and am thoroughly enjoying it.

I've just started on her new book, 'Photoshop Masking and Compositing'. Looks to be as good as 'Restoration and Retouching', very detailed, tons of examples.

Love her writing style, all meat and potatoes, no foo-foo veggies and no gravy. Ain't it grand?

Does someone know if there is online store which sends those books to Poland... or some other way to get it ? I would like to read it, but it seems there is no way to do it.
