| Hi all! I dont know if this is the place to post this, but here goes. How do i strip an objects colour to white or strip a metalic objects 'colour' to its basic colour/chrome colour. Now hold on a second people, i dont mean change to greyscale or setting saturation in Hue/sat to -100, channel mixer monochrome tick box etc. I mean turn an objects chroma for example changing a blue ferrerri into a super cool looking pure white number whilst retaining all the natural shades from highlight to shadow. As i mention before - its a colour stripping technique im after, be the final result be white or a general ABSENCE OF A SPECIFIC COLOUR I ask for help because i had achieved this at work but have completly forgotten how i did it(due to the pressure of the deadline and inadvertedly binning the psd) all i can remember is that i used colour correction based layers with a combination of blending modes- but this much IS certain... it can be done if anyone knows of an effective colour stripping technique that is not primarily 'greyscale' based, id be more than greatfull thanx to all that can help |
