Doug's Archives are superb

Hope this is the correct place to add this, but i was looking through Doug's archive pictures, and i came across one and i wonder if i add it here can we maybe attempt it here?

I would love to get into photo restoration, i have a box full of my Parents pictures i would really love to correct some of them and maybe add them to a cd for my family.

Anyhow here is the picture.

Portraits are needed by Doug

LA - I'm almost certain Doug recently was asking for Portrait photos so that we can all work on them in the Restoration Challenge area.

So if you have a stack stashed away, he'd be delighted, I'm sure if you could provide him with a few of yours.

The Archives are submitted by users. A few were just submitted a couple of months ago.

I do need portraits for challenges, but I'm looking for color studio portraits (hard to come by due to copyrights and permissions).

Doug!!!

Doug...

Do you mean...

Okay this is just a guess, but being a blonde sometimes i get it wrong lol!

I have a photograph of me when my friend took me to a studio to have my picture taken, i was disappointed with the results cos it came back like my hair was reddy blonde, which it has never ever been, its more light blonde than red.

Its a coloured photograph from a studio would this picture help if i try and scan it.

It depends on whether you arranged for copyright to be transferred to you. In most cases, the studio owns the copyright (you can see why we have trouble getting images of this type).

Well there is no copyright details on the back or the front of the photo, so who is to say who took the photo in the first place? Infact even i couldnt tell you the name of the company, it was 5 years ago.
