Dear Perplexed, (LOL!! sorry, joke)

It's done with various filters and skill, go see the RetouchPro Photo Based Art forum here..

http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/for...hp?forumid=110

You'll see a LOT of brilliant stuff there...

For those in the know, it was Impressionist with a colour pencil filter, but the right side was replaced with a mirror image of the left slanting strokes (to give right slanting ones, of course..)))

Hi James,

glad to hear your friend decided to go for the original which I, personally, find a great picture of a stunning girl!!...

The results posted in both your Threads are very good, but I don't think you can get an absolute 'natural' reconstruction and look and anything 'unnatural' would spoil your great picture!!!

... Your skin retouch is simply great!!!

P.S. Since they are about the same topic, I'm going to merge your Threads ....
