Cool Tutorial On Retouching Jewelry/Watches?

Hi Folks. I am experimenting with photographing digitally a variety of jewelry and watches and wanted to know if anyone here might have any advice on how to retouch each result to get a more professional look. I may get a good shot that's 90% there, but need that extra enhancement to get it really glowing. Any advice or links is appreciated. Thanks steveb

Glenn Honiball has just published a book on commercial retouching. I haven't read it but the reader reviews say it focuses on technique rather than on Photoshop specifically. His website has one before/after example of jewelry retouching.

Pixelfinity just published a link to his site. The first example is another before/after jewelry retouch.

There are some threads on jewelry retouching here; this one and this one for example.

Retouching Link

Hey Panpan. Great link you sent us on Glenn Honiball. I went to his site and he really creates great work. Love the befores and after. Some of the org photos are so good anyway, you wonder how they could be improved, but Glenn showed some options. I went to Barnes and Noble today to see if they had his book, but they didn't yet. I'm sure it will be in soon, as they stock many Photoshop and books on digital photography. Thanks, steveb

That's exactly the reaction I have when I look at his portfolio .
