Tutorial Retouch

I wanted to thank all those people who have worked on my projects.
It has never been my intention to 'drop" off the picture and run. I want to learn to do this myself. I appreciate the time and effort on my part.
Retouching is not a one day process, and I have 'just" started to study.
I am not young so maybe it takes me a little longer than everyone else.
The more I learn the better it is for me and my self esteem.
Again thank you

Roadrunner...

I'm glad you want to participate, and trust me... old I know about :-)

Some of us found your initial posts rather "abrupt", but we are all glad to help those who are willing to help themselves. We are used to the old timers dropping a project, but comming from a newbie without any explanation of what you had tried or failed to achieve was rather disconcerting.

My appologies if I offended you. My forte is in manipulation rather than retouch and coloring, so I too am learning.

Newbee

I am sorry if I appeared abrupt, I guess I was more afraid than anything else.
I have just begun this journey and therefore did not really know what to ask or say.
I have spent the last week studying the basics of Retouch and Restore so lots new for me.
I have printed all the tutorials that mention methods and now I will put them to use.
The more I learn the better for both myself and my students.
I want to be able to teach other seniors how to do this, and I guess I am not the most patient person in the world, plus I had a million people asking for info that I could not give them.
I will begin again
Thank you

dee dee,

you're not old; you're mellow besides, swamp rats dont get old, they just fade away into the mud (i'm a 'river rat' so i know what i'm talking about here )

and roadrunner, welcome to RP. glad you found us. no need for fear here. we're a 'mellow' group (see above) and dont suffer all the idiocies of some web site forums. it's actually surprisingly quiet and sane here; one of the reasons i love this place

If you're not young, you're not on your own, there's a whole range of ages and experiences here.

I guess I'm more towards oldy than I am youngster.

Anyway, welcome to RP.
