Yip, the "dragon" effect

Do a search for "paint with light" or "PWL"

Play around with blend modes on your layers, dodge and burn in certain areas, sharpen up the image... use your paint brush and paint in colour over the skin... the usual "dragon" stuff

Raw is always the better solution

But to be more specific, you "need" the extra information Raw offers to process like Dragan (or at least it helps a lot) to avoid color artifacts etc.. Also be sure to convert in 16 bit.

I think it's "Dragan" - and not "Dragon" - like Andrzej Dragan the photographer : http://andrzejdragan.com/

Maybe I'm wrong but I never hear of "Dragon effect" before.

If you want Dragan effect you can download Draganizer script here : http://atncentral.com/download.htm

"Sharon has developed an action version of the Dragan effect that has been the subject of much discussion on dpreview.com. Experiment with this approach and with Kent Christiansen’s “Grundge Effect” on this site and use the one that gets the closest to the effect you’re trying to achieve. Other examples are available at this link ."

Thanks all for responding.
PWL seems to be a good solution.
Im not sure how this draganizer action is but I dont think that action scripts helps with this effect that much.
anyway Hope it will work
