Much fun with this. I do feel the need to tell you that this is NOT a bad pic of a nice model! This is a very good portrait...you captured her expression really well. There is depth in her eyes...a sort of intelligence and beauty. Isn't that what a portrait is supposed to do?

Anyway, this is my version of your girl....

I found this earlier today and thought Id give it a shot.
I flipped the image tho as it just seemed to look better and made her look as if she was smiling a little more.

Took the first image and made a mess of it to make a background with a few colors dropped on.

Then set her off to one side.

Here's my approach. I used the chance to practise byRo's degrunging technique. I like to go for natural, maybe I overdid it? wanted a fresh look. I'll be grateful for feedback. Thanks

This was a fun project, I think I spent the last two hours or so playing around with it. The biggest hurdle I had was some issues with selecting the hair so it wouldn't end up choppy and pixelated. I left some of her pores and what not in her face, just to make it a bit more real.

hi this his my first post in this forum im a newbey in her and this is a 10 min work at the end of my may day at work i just wanted the picture to look more diferent that the ones i have seen so far hope you enjoy
