Just wanted to get in on this awesome thread. Here's my shot at it. I wanted to keep it as natural as possible and not too glamour like. My goal was to really learn the D&B technique as advised by theVEED. (thanks veed!)
Please critique!! I'm sure it could use lots of improvement.
I also used liquify for the jaw just for experimentation. I hope she doesn't mind.
I think it looks really good. Skin still looks real. Maybe a tip? set the burn tool to about 8% on shadow and go over the pupils and outer iris. Then maybe a little on the eyelahes and brows
thanks for the tip paula. Did the image look flat and lacking of color to you? I thought i added enough weight and color but It seems to have a different appearance in each browser. I attached srgb profile.
Here is my new and final version. I know it's not perfect but it's way better than what i used to do with skin texture. I'm so glad i learned this technique here at Retouch Pro!
