| | | My Try though a little late... No blurring or soft focus here.
Skin tone evened out while keeping the texture. Eyebrows raised just slightly and trimmed just a little. Eyes brightened, added to the highlight in the eyes.
Mouth expanded slightly further. Eyelashes darkened, makup more pronounced. PWL over all.

| | | Late entry Hey all! I wanted to share my version of the much-retouched girlfriend. I used this picture as my first attempt at using the techniques in Katrin Eismann's book on my own- a lot of cloning, a lot of curves layers, but mostly soft light layers with 8-20% black and white paintbrushing. I love some of the previous entries that took it to a more artistic level, and I think I'll try pushing it a little farther in that direction myself. |

liquify of eyes, nose eyebrows lips and profile
Saturation of lips
Saturation of eyes
Whitening of eyes
levels to fix color
channel mix
D & B
lighten using curves
Cooling filter
a little cleanup using clone stamp and add texture to places its lacking |

| | | Re: Glamour retouch challenge here!!!! I am just not sure why many seem to be making her skin tone milky white as opposed to normal skin tone values. To me it looks like the life has been sucked out of them, but just my opinion. |

| | | Re: Glamour retouch challenge here!!!! ..and others will give her an orange colour. I've seen blue versions and also some like to paint her black. That's because some poeple just like it different and don't have to nessasarally like it the way it supposed to be, like you say so.
If everyone thought about it the way you do, every retouch challenge would look almost the same. it's a matter of opinion |
