Re: How to get the Patrick Hoelck look?

I met a very awesome photographer from Mexico who does mostly fashion photography, and I loved his photos, but I even loved them more when he told me most of his photos have NO photoshop at all. He does everything at the studio. He's a master in lighting.
So, not everyone uses photoshop all the time. He can make a model look like she/he has perfect skin, only with lighthing

Re: How to get the Patrick Hoelck look?

I have been doing "Dodging & Burning" manually (with my fingers or peace of paper) under the lens of my Enlarger and I remember how unhappy I was I do not have better control over my picture - also different chemicals for different tones or contrast or size of grain

The question is "How do you use computer software?" or "In which way do you use this software?"

What do you think - if Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci would live in our time would they be using Photoshop?
