natural skin tone

HI.. I'm not allowed to post whole picture, so I'm posting only part of it, hope you can see what is the problem....

I've tried to get the natural look of the skin (channels, levels, blend, curves etc...) but without any results that are satisfactory...

I'll appreciate any advice...
Thanks

Here are few steps but you can develope more...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Dupe Bg
2. Create new fill or adj. layer>Channel mixer
a) red (104,12,8,-12)
b) green (40,46,-2,4)
c) blue (8,0,98,0)
3. Create new fill or adj. layer>Selective color
a) red (18,-12,0,-8)
b) yellow (1,0,-100,-16)
c) neutrals (10,-8,-27,0)
4. Flatten layers
5. Dupe bg
6. Add a new layer >Apply image and set red for channel, lighten blending mode, opacity = 15%
7. Increase or decrease opacity of the layer as you want
You can use dodge or burning tool...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Beste wishes,
Dan

Skin Color

I also made a single curve adjustment in LAB by locking down the A and B curves below a value of 10 and flattening down the tops. Using LAB allows you to adjust the values of the A & B as well as the ratio so you can go after a reference skin tone. L channel was pulled up to adjust the brightness and contrast.
Regards, Murray
