Opinion

This is my first touchup I've done that didn't turn out plastic looking... Please tell me what you think... Be encouraging, my husband wasn't and it almost put me off to the whole world of a touchup artist...

Attachments were too big...

I like it! Especially the eyes.

Re: Opinion

for a first retouch job, its definitely not bad.

in my opinion, the subjects have way to heavy of a glow. takes away the realism of the pic. if that was the loook you were going for, then its a great job because the whole picture has been altered, rather then just the face.

must of been tough playing with this picture considering the face is so blown out. my suggestions would be to tone down the glow and take away some saturation ..

keep going at it, practice makes perfect.

Re: Opinion

This is good for a first retouch. The hair is excellent. You have also definitely improved the skin tones, but I prefer the colour of the eyes 'before'. In my opinion, the enhancement has affected the background too much. You could maybe tone this down (also the eyes) with a layer mask.
