ISO Star / Flare Masks

I had a bunch of flare or star masks that I found on the web. There were low res but I used to make flare in combination with PS lens flare. The mask just controlled the spill a bit. I've made some of my own with polar coordinates, waves etc but these were better

I lost them in my latest crash and can not seem to find them again. They were black masks with white star shines and many different types. I could not find it by goggling it. If anyone knows the link(s) to waht I am looking for I would really appreciate your help

Thanks

Help finding flare masks

The bad thing about a computer crash is losing some of tools I use to do work. I found some low res star / flare masks online that I used to make the flare effect in this image. I used a combo of the mask with PS lens flare and painted in the effect. I am not showing the original here but it was on a plain pink background.

I have tried to recreate my own masks but have been unable to create the sharp vertical flare lines.

Does anyone know where I could look for some star masks online. They were downloadable for free. I tried to google them using many different keywords.

Any help is appreciated

Re: Flare masks

Can't help as to where to find them. With some more experimenting, I'm sure you could create better in the end regardless (wasn't that look a couple of years ago anyway ala Indrani?).

Just wanted to say Nice work. If you ever want to collaborate on a beauty shoot let me know.

Try searching Adobe Exchange:

I bet you'll find some star-shaped brushes you can use to make the mask you're after.
