1. How it was done? Black skin

I found this image on http://www.metroimaging.co.uk/creative/portfolio.asp and I would like to ask, how it was done in your opinion?

Any idea how to make skin black?

First off I dont think that image was done in photoshop. i think she was paintet in real life and lightet acordingly.

But this is photoshop techniqes.. I used the image from a retouch challenge from this site. I'm not all there but i think this mimics it quite well. I used a black/blue layer masked with the green channel and then a blue layer again masked by the green channel. last i masked out the highlights and made them pure white using curves and blured the mask.

Oh I just realized I made this image on my laptop which is calibratet to match a second monitor so I might be more off than I can see here.. hope its useable.

i may be a bit off here but this is what i would try.. I would make another layer high contrast. Then with the orginal i would invert it in color mode and erase the areas that i wanted to have normal coloring...(eye's ect) and maybe fade the top layer a bit and play around...
