Exclam - love the match background.....particularly impressed that you came up with that from the US.....
And for the Cricket Critics....at least our World Series (Cricket) involves other parts of the world.....lol... |

| | | Re: Adding Drama to Backyard Cricket? hehehe, ya gotta love the differences and the relative significances we each put on our sports
basically, all i was referring to was that i have really tried to understand the rules of both rugby and cricket and just never quite get past 'scrum' |

| He, he, lots of people never get past the scrum, they're taken off on stretchers.
S'OK Craig, Cricket takes years to learn and enjoy, never really thought about Rugby that way, but I suppose it may be the same to those not brought up with it, having the 2 types (League & Union) won't make it easier to understand either.
We pretty much get everybody's sport over here, so although not conversant with most of the finer points of some of the stateside games, we're at least on nodding terms with most of them.
I'd even enjoy the Superbowl if they took out all the breaks and stoppages, and let the game flow a bit. |

| | | Re: Adding Drama to Backyard Cricket? Crop. Add two curve layers set to overlay and burn blend modes. The overlay layer is masked and adjusted to accentuate the subject. The burn layer is masked and adjusted to diminish and darken the periphery.
Put on a larger white canvas and use drop shadow and bevel edges.
Cut out the ball, patch the hole, magnify the ball, then put it just off the edge of the photo. Use radial blur to create the appearance of motion with the correct direction.
