Talking Re: Hey, Photo-art newbie? (Yeah, you!) How Useful is this Forum?

I was messing around try to give myself more hair.

But when I try the clone stamp it looks more like fuzz than hair. Then my wife saw it and made me put it back.

Also have you noticed how creepy it looks when zooming in on someone's hand when its sitting on the shoulder of someone next to them in a friendly hug. Its making me think that its not a good pose.

Imaging two grand kids sitting next one another is challenging.
Either one is looking at the camera and the otherr isn't.
Or one is wiggling around and messing with the autofocuser.

Can't put them in refrigerator and cool them down like you can butterflies.

Yeah, I've noticed when taking shots of 2 or more human subjects -- especially children -- that I usually end up regretting it if I only take a single shot. Closed eyes, stupid expressions, not looking at the camera, flash reflection in glasses, etc. always seem to bite ya.

Although I look better with a self-applied "digital weight-loss" manipulation, there's no real substitute for eating less and excercising more. (Down 40 lb. since July, btw.) No hope digitally or otherwise for restoring hair I have lost, however.

------

The hand-on-shoulder close-up indeed looks creepy.
