| | Re: yet another re touch wow. great pageant retouch. much better than your last one. i think lots of people don't understand the look trying to be achieved. you basically want the kids to look like a doll. keep up the good work |

| | | Re: yet another re touch Just to understand these pageant retouch photos. These kids never actually show up at these pageant do they? This is more "photo" pageant or contest. The reason I'm assuming this is because the child can't later show up with thin limp hair, small eyes and missing teeth to a live contest, where they are expecting this big haired, doe eyed child with a full set of pearly white chompers.
I think that is the part I couldn't rap my head around..if its simply a photo pageant then it doesn't matter the subject you start with as long as it looks cute as a "doll"..

| | | Re: yet another re touch I wouldn't worry about what people think..it looks good..if somebody wants a photograph retouched of them selves looking 50 years younger or their dog looking like a cat or their child looking like a doll so be it.
I was just trying to understand the look..it could be cube-ism or dribble art..didn't understand them either.
The reality is you are trying to learn something new and you are getting better at it...way to go!

I asked around, they wear big fake wigs called falls and they can wear the teeth to the pageant to.
they are also tanned and get their nails done,
but as far the eyes I don't know why they like the big eyes so much. or what they do for that at the pageant...
thats all i know, ambers pageants are still in the baby zone, we just dress them up in big dresses. some of the have falls. but not the make-up thing, there only in the pic's |

| | | Re: yet another re touch Do you have the healing patch? that should do it...if not, or if it smudges.
Try the clone tool with opacity set very low and build it up (set mode to normal or lighten).

| | | Re: yet another re touch I think 6 has a clone brush...set it to very light like 20% or less and build the area...PSPX I'm sure has a clone brush (stamp)
