Neep help!! Dig-Cam grain??

hey! I need help with something. I remember something about how different digital cams create different sort of grains on pictures taken with them, and that every camera profile was different, and that you could remove the grains if you had the right profile.....

anyone know what I'm talking about and could point out a useful tutorial or info?

ThanX so much!

Well I use Neat Image which can be found: HERE . The first step is to select an area of the photograph with noise. It then creates a profile that can be saved. On the web site they have several noise profiles from different cameras. May that will help.
