| | | zone editing, ie, Ansel Adams I still want to use a paint program for my final output but I want zoned landscape photographs, ie, www.fredmiranda.com, for my source.
Has anyone used "lightzone" from www.lightcrafts.com?
The alternative to a zone program like this is doing mult. exposure work in photoshop, which I don't know how to do in a short time frame.
Are there plugins or actions that would accomplish the same thing? |

| | | Re: zone editing, ie, Ansel Adams HI chauncey,FIRST anything this program can do you could most probably do in photoshopSECOND as with most imaging software there is a steep learning
curve,so you will still have to spend time learning and finessing in this other programTHIRD,you must have a working knowledge of the zone system
otherwise how would you know if this program is doing what it says
IN GENERAL,I have never used this program but i have found that you can do anything you want/need in photoshop
also there is no shortcut/quickfix to fine art photography
just my opinon hope it helps you
best of luck zganie |

"Easy to use — you can be a pro photographer in days"
is to be looked at very carefully. |

If you enjoy working with the Zone system, you should check out LightZone, a new image editor based on Zone system concepts. LightZone has a built-in raw convertor and a highly intuitive interface, You may never need to open Photoshop again.
