trying to copy greenberg/hoelck look! help

well, this stock picture is nice to try these effects...blown out background, but it works...I have dodged and burdne his suit, burner shadows and dodged highlights around th room...added a lamp to the light...

I'm not 100% about the face though...iabit difficult to add highlights, when the photographer probably didn't use flash or flash to the face...

what do you think??

Re: trying to copy greenberg/hoelck look! help

I think alot of the images for greenburg are due to lighting.
looks like a couple of ringflashes for Gwen Stefani.

Re: trying to copy greenberg/hoelck look! help

I quite like your image although I wouldn't say it's exactly greenberg style.

Tell you what. You should check out her retoucher because Jill is just responsible for the initial photo and lighting (which is very important too).

Her retoucher is Amy Dresser (www.amydresser.com).

Amy is mainly responsible for the greenberg look.
