lucisart effect using only Photoshop

I am interested in the photo effects that can be created using the Lucisart plugin or Lucisart Pro, but the price of the plugin is a little steep for me. Does anyone know how a similar effect can be created using just Photoshop CS2 without lucisart?

Anyone can update on obtaining Lucas Filter effects just with Photoshop CC, Affinity, On One or other modern software?

Give Topaz Adjust a shot, with some tweaking, you can do it. http://www.topazlabs.com/adjust

Re: lucisart effect using only Photoshop

Thanks Aladdin! You should tell me where I get the magic lamp!

Puzzles me why the original programmer can't find it worthwhile to continue.

I wish folk would give back to the community by making the code freely available so it can be developed by others.

Anyway, I get it that this is not happening and that is a pity.

If one has already experience with the plugin, then one has a chance of somehow matching the effect. I ended up using Topaz impression, with a Minimal Monet plus Topaz Clarity.

Still, this is a clumsy approach and I do not have the reference images to aim for and match to be able to build a reproducible workflow.

I did find the brilliantly simple Freaking Amazing Detail method

But would love more guidance to reach the versatility I have seen in reports using lucisart plugin with all its variations.
